Onboard Cruise Virgo

It trip was done is June and I only blog it today, hahah...

Wanted to go for a short trip before i enter the workforce. Hence, went on this 3 day 2 nights cruise to KL shortly after the Sin-Ma FA Com 2007.

Superstar Virgo was not bad. Had quite an enjoyable trip. Had participated in some activities onboard. The facilities were not bad.

One thing i want to mention is, the bed is damn nice. Not that its is super big or wat, it jus feel very nice in bed and i really enjoy my sleep very well, haha... Like "Rock A Bye Baby On A Tree Top..."

The food was onli ok ok... However, the scenery and the time spent with my friends easily compromised on that factor.

Did quite a lot of thinking onboard. The sea breeze and ambience really sets one free...

Long Long Ago

This is a long awaited blog entry.

This depicts the time where i went for the batam trip during teachers' day. Though was tired (came home to slp str8 i gt off the bus at sch), it was rather fun.

The hotel we stayed in was superb. 4 pax to share and the room was big. After subside, we onli need pay $70 for the whole trip including from sch all the way there and back.

That resort was really heavenly. hahah.. Great place for a short getwaway with your loved ones or even a few friends to hang out together.

Other than the cheap seafood, area near the hotel was also nice. There are some nice sceneries to stroll too. I almost wanted to go for the massage/ facial but as no one is going, i decide to forfeit the chance too.

I strongly recommend this place for anyone desperate for a getaway from the hetic lifestyle of Singapore. Anyone wants to go there? Pls call me along. I am desperate to get out of Singapore for a relax trip there...

I go by Sushi Tei!!

Was "happily" rushing thru marking my walls of books today when i suddenly rembered that today's Pay Day!Wanted to eat something good so ask Aunt Ellen whether wan go makan dinner together with the rest. Suggested a few places then decide to go Sushi Tei... As i was very hungry, the first question i asked was whether this place gt buffet. UNfortunately, it doesnt.

It was damn crowded @ the pt of time i arrived with aunt ellen and amber. Went shoppping for a while before they call me to inform me that our table is ready.

These are the food we ate. The food is very nice and nt really ex la. We ate abt $80 for 3 pax. ok mahz....

For me, i think the best food is the salad. Nvr tried anything so good before.

Childhood Memories

One of my P2 students gave this to me. haha... Brought back my childhood memories really. I remember that i used to do this a lot with the coloured papers (those one stack $0.70 each).

Used to write notes on the underside of the edges then see which number your partner will choose. But i alr forgt wat notes did i write on the underneath.

My 5 Gentleness

ONe kid in tis class which i perfectly dislike previously with no sense of voice control and always like to disrupt class.

But today, i think i saw a different him. He broke don twice in front of me today! OMG! Nvr imagine tat he would do tt. But i think i really undderstand him or rather, understand him better nw.

HIs attention seeking might nt be wat he wanted. His family background is also no much to be desired. His is one of those traditional one whereby the mum would cane him whenever any teachers called his mum or any complain, he sure kena beating one. I think today, he would kena beating again as he gt a warning letter fr his form teacher. Haiz...

Anyway, hope i can understand him better. Not tat i wan to get into his good books
(wat for?). It jus tat i feel every child has his own prob, thought it might seem peanuts according to us. I just try my very best to bring out the angel in every child. No use scolding everyone in the class. There are bound to be pple tat can brighten ur day. Looking back at the past few wks since i stepped into that class, thing have improved tremondously thought its still the class i dread to go in, hahah..

Cheapo Fine Dining

This cafe is worth trying. Esp students and new working adults, tis is a muz try. Cos it cheap and the food is good. Wan to impress ur gf or celebrate your impt someone's B day? Tis is the place. Wan to find a place to chill? Tis place is cool.

Tried the food there today. I tried the duck's leg, Quek tried the fish and KT tried the lamb shank! It was good! Except for the fish, i didnt really love it. The prawn bisque is nice too. Can taste the freshness of the prawns in every spoon of the soup.

The drink is nothing to compare of but the main thing is the food! Outdoor and indoor dining is both good. Indoor ambience is better though u might smell the food cooking and hence, stain ur clothes. Outdoor is windy (depends on the weather though) but might smell car petrol as there is a car mechanic shop nearby and the outdoor dining area is very near the road.

Tis cafe is defintely not for pple who are:
1) Looking for cheap food tat come in bulk
2) Looking for buffet where there are lots of things to choose from at a fixed price
3) Fussy people as the food option is quite limited
4) People who hv some comments abt tan skin people
5) People who cant wait too long for their food (we waited 45min at least)

Try it! oh ya. If u wan try it, drop me a line! It very close to my house, so i wan to try it again, hahah.....

Went to NTU CAC String Orchestra concert yesterday at the NAFA wif my buddy. a bit sianz cos i don think gt profeesional enough. Quite a bit sloppy and seems to me like training ground b4 they move up to NTU Symphony Band concert, haha... After which, we went to the 24hr food centre @ Bugis (beside Apollo Hotel).

Seems to me tat they went thru a renovation. As usual, like other renovated hawker centre, the food doesnt taste as good anymore. The hokkien mee was ok. The sting ray was nice. But the rojak is damn sianz lor. nvr ate such "lan" rojak b4. Forgt to take photo and place in my blog. Also, the chix wing (as in the pic above). First time i eat BBQ chix woing and don feel like finishing it cos it suz BIG time! Remember, if u r really hungry and u don feel like spending much. Order one of the chix wing in tat hawker centre. You will save lots of $$$$$.




Brought my BB boys out for a Childrens' Day party @ St Andrew Cathedral today. The party was quite nice. can see tat my boys enjoyed themselves totally. Then throughout the party, gt one boy came and sit nxt to me. haha... the small guy in the pic above lar. Throughout the service, he was telling me his family and his dreams. I think the 2 hrs there, he told me his whole family stories. Quite cute. He even ask if he could sit on my laps so tat he can have a better view. At first i was quite apprehensive abt it as his paretns might think i am a maniac or wat.... Then i think, nvr mind la. Cant be so suay... haha... His parents even came up to me after the service to thank me for looking after their boy... Diaoz... Win liao lor. They sit on top, i sit below to look after their 6 yr old boy. haha.. But it fine with me. Its kids like tat tat brightens up my day.

The secind pic is the boys tat i brought to the Cathedral today. Not bad la. Behaved themselves quite well generally. Nice bunch of kids.
