Coming to the end of May in the yr 2007 liao. How time flies.
Went blading today. Improvement shown! Though i was quite frustrated and angry with myself (yes, a bit to afraid to move), i managed to get quite a big leap from my previous try. Anyway, i must say tahnks to my buddy. I think without him, i might still be at the beginner stage. I think for him, it mus be quite boring to roller balde with me bah cos i move quite slowly. But KUDOS, Bro! U nvr complained abt anything abt me slow or anything. Ur words of encouragement really brightens up pples' day.
Today, while i was driving, i suddenly thought of a phrase spoken by one of the lecturer duing my enrichment workshop: " some man are wise, others are otherwise." Haha.. How true is that! Some pple jus wan attention to them without realising that attention drawn to oneself will only be the action after u fully understand your own capability. If your capability is onli pte ltd company, then pls don draw attention to urself. It jus make u fall into the "otherwise" category.
*Man here does not onli refer to the male species. It refers to both gender as well.

Just abt 1-2 weeks ago, i went out with my buddy A.K.A. Shortie, haha... We went to watch a movie abt two wannabe skaters. I forgt the title of the movie alr. Haha.. It was damn funny lor. However, it also makes us ponder on the reality of life. Those Superstar wannabes... They were publicly criticised on reality TV. They are really so eager to get famous that they are willing to endure anything. Best and worst example will be the eyebrow plucker @ Orchard Road. He is so desperate to get on tv and seek attention that he can do atrocious stuff on National TV. the police shld catch him and put him in jail where he cant do anything that put Singapore into bad limelight.
Back to topic, after the movie, we went to Kallang Stadium. Initially wanted to go to the place called Cosy Bay but it was not opened yet. Bo bian, we jus loiter ard the Singapore River lor.Think it was abt 3-4 pm. Sat by the river and jus talked cock lor. Come to think abt it, the last time where i chill out with my buddy was abt 2 months before, when prac was abt to start. During the conversation, i realise that he've been thru some difficult times that i didnt know of. I don know the reason why he didnt tell me in initially. Maybe he don wan to distract me during my prac. Maybe he doesnt wan to disrupt my prac feelings, haha.. Whatever (yes, this is also the name of a drink that taking Spore by thousands now) the reason is, I am glad that he decided in the end to share with me. Friends, are nothing more than people who will stand by you regardless of what you feel. Friends, are people who you know will give you the best advice even though u might nt feel happy abt what they are saying. Friends, are people who will be with you throughout.
Anyway, tat day i cancelled my tuition and went KTV with him. Yes, my mouth felt itchy to open hrs long. Being a human and not a goldfish, the best way is to go KTV lor.We sang from 7pm till abt 11plus... Nvr break my record yet, sad....

I am so lazy to post pixs up nowadays. HOwever, juz now while i was scanning my photos in my camera, i felt tht its hightime i leave them in this "time capsule" or there will be no more space for me to take more photos.
A few wks ago, was driving along SLE when i saw this car plate. haha... I jus couldnt believe my eyes. How come his/her car plate goes like this? Does he/she really like it so much? haha.. I couldnt resist but quickly take out my phone camera (yes, when i am still driving) to take a quick snapshot!

So many weeks since i blog. Don know why also. Seems like everyday pass so fast. My prac is long over. My enrichment courses are almost till the end already. My much dread army mobilisation over. Wow,wow... Cant wait for my holidays to arrive and i can party all day long.
My prac @ CHS is over. From 28th May 2007 onwards, I belong to TVPS. Word has it that they exchange 2 teachers for me... haha.. I wonder how true is that? Anyway, I still miss my kids @ CHS. Naughty as they are, but they are also quite cute. I miss the chocolate easter bunny they gave me for easter, the butterfly they gave me during Earth's Day etc. I shall elaborate more on CHS when i get from class photo from my PA, Gillan.
The enrichment courses that NIE has organised are almost BULL**** lor. Its just endless workshops, endless seminars, endless attendance taking etc. Waste of my time lor. And yes, waste of money. Might as well jus upload it in the intranet of various sch and let us read la. The money can be given to us. Better still, right? haha..
The mobilisation is like shit lor. Report @ XXXXhrs then wait and wait. waited for 11hrs, then parade then go back home. Spent the entire night playing poker cards. Sianz X 1000000000..... Don know need all these shows for wat?

5th May
Went for VPO training this morning. Quite interesting job to work with juveniles and etc. Made some frenz too though we nvr exchange contact number. Hmmm.. Met one experienced VPO that is a prison teacher. Had quite a interesting chat with him.
During the training, one of the facilitator said, " In a communication, words only constitutes 7%. Methods of communication made up 38% and body language made up the rest." Wow! I knew that body language made up some percentage in a communication but nvr knew it made up such a huge percentage of communication.
In the late afternoon, went to Msia with KT. Had a sumptious meal there. Looking at the pictures,u might think its not a lot. However, we had more. Other than Stingray, Sotong and Oyester omelette, we also had chix wings(2 for me, 4 for KT) and drinks. The food was nice and cheap. After ordering so much, it only came up to RM20 per pax. Damn cheap lor. The stingray alone would have costs SGD$12-15 if eaten in Spore.
Afer dinner, went on to Pelangi Plaza. Strange enough, we saw a Popular Bookstore sign outside Pelangi Plaza but couldnt locate it in the shopping centre. Don know where the hell its located. I bought a cookie jar for one of my CT. Gg to put chocolates inside. Good! I finish buying presents for all my CTs. Job well done in JB!
Nxt, we went on to City Square. Again, KT ate the Oyster Mee Sua and one big chix cutlet. OMG! I don know how he can finish so much. Then, we went on to Secret Receipe again to eat cakes. Wah lau! Very nice lor. We both ordered one slice of Mango cake each. haha.. Was craving for more after eating one but luckily, manage to curb my temptation.
Day was well spent.

Seletar Reservoir! Feeling rather sianz yesterday so i went there to chill out for a while inbetween my tuitions. That is a place where i used to avoid after i broke up with XXX. However, in recent years, i've managed to not feel sad abt that place anymore. "We" used to spend happt times there. Now, it has become a place for me to go whenever i feel sad or bothered. Nice scenery, thanks to OCC. Many families and couples will go there to chill out after their dinner. Kids will be happily running ard. As usual, the Ice-Cream man will go round and round selling their ice-cream. That is the palce where I can bare my soul to the world outside.
Fernvale Road. Thats the road near my house. When I am feeling super free, which is impossible recent days, i used to walk there to buy my lunch/dinner. Quite a nice neighborhood. Quiet like an old man by the sunset. Still like the waters in a pond. Fernvale, a place where people go for a nice stroll along the roads, a place for people to rest amist their busy schdule.

Labour Day
Went out today instead of marking my composition and workbook. Hav to chiong tmr then.
Was dissapointed and sad the etire day throughout but i think i manage to hide it quite well. Shant harp on it anymore. All i can say is "people will move on with their life and I need to accept this fact." Friends re just friends. I used to wonder why those old people seldom go out with "friends". Today, I think i understand why. A call can do much more wonders than anything else. The most impt factor is "the person".
Actually, i used to think i am very blessed to have so many friends. Now, i think i have to retract my words. Actually, come to think of it, I am quite a failure at friendship. I don think i truly grasp the true meaning of friednship yet. I am gg 24 tis yr and i am still in the mist of grasping this idea. HOw childish am I.
Watched Spiderman today. Not a bad show but definetely not worth your $9.50. Maybe worth the $7 only.But the show was quite long. All of you out there who wan to watch this movie, please go to the toilet before the show and get some drinks in case you feel thirsty.
Whatever comes in your way, you always have a choice.
