Hahah.. Ppl who know me well enuff will understand tat i am nt techically inclined. I cant fix any thing for nuts. When i encounter furniture or eletrical appliances problems, i will get the phone immediately.

However, i foudn tis table in NTUC nt long ago. Find it quite suitable for me to mark books in my rm. Hence, went to buy it and fix it myself. Quite a feat,man! hahha.. At least for me lar.

Went to redye my hair b4 the BB Recruitment Service. A bit of green tint and highlight. Can spot???

Fr a dist even b4 the 1st Pic. I thought a biulding was on fire cause the smoke was really high. On a closer look, CHEY!!!! Jus fogging. Though wat happen...

Hahha...

Bought tis perfume for a few months liao. Though i find it nice, no one has ever told me tat it smells nice. Onli today when i went to top up petrol @ SPC in Hougang tat the cahsier told me the perfume smells nice.

Myabe its bcos i jus bathe and i smell fresh as well. Maybe the perfume too strong. Myabe she is hinting tat the perfume don smell nice. But!!! I swear by the name of Polo Explorer.. I luv the scent! Gt another one alr in my cupboard even b4 this bottle gt used up.

Dinner @ T3 again...

Went to T3 again to have a dinner with Kok Toong and Hwee Beng and my buddy. Actually wanted to treat him one but then he jus gave me the money for his share. Hmm... Maybe jus return him another day. Anyway, was quite meaningful. Long time nvr catch up with each other liao. Went to Lerk Thai to makan. Nt very nice but i enjoy the catching up session even more. We decided to go JB (one of our fav hobby in the past) either this cmg sunday or the nxt... Yeah!!!!

A Play worth Mentioning...

Went to watch a play @ Drama Centre @ National Library a few wks ago. Its called 《都是当兵惹的祸》. Its a very nice show abt a guy being enlisted into army and the events tat happen thereafter. Quite hilarious! Have many singlish components dissolveed in the play tat jus cracks pple up. The actors are very engaging and there;s a lot of interaction with the audience. The "songs" are pretty gd too, quite meaningful and true. So nice tat i went two times. One woth Ellen and Amber. Another time wif Buddy

曲终人散

今天和几位朋友去看“五月天”的演唱会。

到新加坡室内体育场时，到处是热闹一片。应该是LEISURE PARK 那儿有赛车活动吧！虽然我们６。３０ｐｍ就抵达演唱会现场，那里已聚集了好多人。过后，还听到赛车的声音才知道发生了怎么一回事。原本还以为是那些疯狂的歌迷在那等偶像的出现。

今天，我生平第一次吃到Jumbo Seafood 的食物。虽然价格有些昂贵，但还可说是稍微顶级的料理。

这场演唱会看得非常之爽！好久好久没有这么疯狂过了。前几首歌，我有些约束，因为坐在我身边的一对陌生夫妇，非常冷静地观看演唱会。由于他们的冷漠，导致我的热情也被扑灭了一大半。可是，后来我想。我花了一百多元观看这个演唱会，干吗要因别人而控制自己的情绪呢？发泄这几个月的辛苦及悲愤，也是其中一个我会来看这场演唱会的原因之一。别浪费钱！尽情地狂欢吧！不顾别人的看法及不便，我也随着音乐的音律而跳动起来。

演唱会结束时，大批的人涌出室内体育场。忽然，我想到了这四个字“曲终人散”！歌曲终止了，人也散了！　人生何不也就是这样吗？就以许多人来说，人生犹如列车。在旅途上，会碰到许许多多的人。上车时，他们是你的好朋友！可是当他们到站时，他们也会选择下车。只有少数的乘客会陪你抵达地铁终站。

天下无不散之宴席！这句话说得真没错！人总是自私的。但他们觉得应该离你而去，去寻找对他更有利益的天地时，他是不会停下脚步伴随着你的。

My Treat

Went with Ellen and Amber to watch a play last wk. B4 we had our brain food, we went to fill our stomach first. Went to this fusion rest at B1 raffles city. THe ambience nt bad, the food was good too. Enjoy the food very much. Gave the two of them a treat and hence, set ma back by abt 100 plus. But okie lar. Once in a while, it feels good to be a blessing to others..

A sense of Happiness

19th April 2008--- One of the days when i felt very nervous. I was the Chinese Emcee for a church event!

Wa... I didnt manage to eat breakfast and lunch lor. So nervous.... I emcee before but its for a wedding dinner where its more relax type. The other time was my school CNY concert which is the the informal and 'High" type lor. Nvr tried this type of super formal religious type of emcee"ing" b4.

I still remembered. The nite b4, i went to bed only around 2am. Scared tat i'll be super late in waking up. i reminded all my family members to wake up me up @ 6am (when i am only supposed to reach sch @ 830am).

When i reached sch, the boys were alr there. I had the idea tat Zac was supposed to picked us up. Suprisingly, Uncle Chua was also there. I thought he was supposed to pick another batch of pupils and hence, i was waiting all along for Zac. Then Uncle Chua was asking me at 9am," Still gt some pupils haven come is it? So late alr.." I was smiling at him ans saying no lah. Its just tat wew are waiting for transport. Uncle Chua reply was," Huh? Wat transport? I am the transport lar.." Diaoz... After a call to Chi Wen to clarify the mis-com, we boarded the bus. My mind is in a mess lor. Wat a way to start the day...

Reached St Andrew's Cathedral at 930am (supposed to reach at 9 i guess). But when we reached there, onli peter was there. Winner lor. Chi Wen put on the consent form so early when the rest of the advance party onli reached ard 10am. Luckily we didnt reach there so early or else i don know wat to do man.

The rest were practising for the parade into the church. My Co-Emcee was late an hence, i spent the next 1 hr reading the bible. When Jasmine, my co-emcee, reached, we plunged into rehearsal str8 away. My voice was trembling lor. When we stepped onto the rostrum, my mind was like a whirlpool. Cant imagine speaking to so many pple.

Hengz ar.. After serveral rounds of practicing, i became calmer. Teh ceremony started on the dot at 2pm. Everything went on smoothly. Thank God! THe onli giltch was tat the ceremony ended ealier than expected and the caterer was not there yet. So, we have to buy time.

Ok, tis time round i gt real tensed up. As only the other emcee gt to know the last min changes (cause i was on stage when she went down stage to get the latest info), i had to listen to her carefully when she was adressing the congregation and then, TRANSLATE ON THE SPOT!!!!!! SUPER STRESSED up lor. No time to think of the appropriate words. Jus Hum Blang jus trasnlate on the spot after she finished saying her ang moh piece.

But Praise the Lord,it went quite well. A few of the pple in the congregation came up to congragulate us and said luckily there was no giltch and everything went on as planned. My heart was like" what? U nvr realised tat we were like buying time at the end?" haha.... I am real suprised tat we managed to hold the whole congregation down by us two.

I was quite pleased with my performance tat day actuaLLY. I mean, I coundlnt done it without the help of the variousn pastors and officer help and of course, my master "Auntie Ellen" who helped mke a lot on the translation part. Ppl who came up to me actually said i overshadow my co-emcee. I think they were refering to the size. But i was elatd to know wat i can actually do. Emcee infront of a 500-600 pple in a formal event. Wow.. Coolz

Bad Start

Had a very bad night yesterday. Didnt manage to sleep well last night. Think i slept ard 2 am tis morning.

Woke up pretty late, ard 715am. Got out of bed b4 realising " I've gt sore neck muscles"!

Feel very sianz.. Entire day was spoilt bcos of the neck as well as other things bothering me. Nw i cant even turn my neck without feeling the strain. Nd to buy those Tiger Balm plaster.

@ Day @ Chango Airport T3

Last thur, after our course of the stupid Window Movie Maker @ GMPS, we decided to go T3 for dinner. Wow... I real mountain tortoise lehz.. 1st time there though the deco nt really as WOW as wat most pple say, looks similar to T1 & T2 combined.

Went to Crystal Jade to makan. Fd was quite nice though bill came up to a bomb too. Costs Aunty Ellen 100 over bucks ! (yah, she treated us..)

Spot the man....

When i was driving to meet M tat day, ui saw this old man squatting in the middle of the road while waiting for the red man to turn colors. He was crossing (or rather rushing) when the green man turned red. Hence, he had to wait in the middle of the road. It was raining no doubt but i cant understand why he need to stood in the middle of the road. However, after i went home to think abt him, i came to a few conclusions.

1)As it was raining, he didnt wan to get struck by lightning (though there was only a drizzle with no lightning). Hence, make himself as low as possible.

2)Standing up is too strenuous for him. Squattting down is a better option.

3)Standing in the middle of the road when it's raining is damn stupid. Try to make himself as low as possible so tat most of the pple cant see him, as well as the drivers (OMG!)

4)Just a bit of retardedness

When i went for tuition one day, i saw this correction tape on my student table. At first, i was still wondering wat is tat... haha... After 3 yrs of mtg up with the chinese lang, i then realise that correction tape is actually 修正带.

haha.. wat a name.

Similies and Differences

One day, went wif Aunty Ellen and Aunty Esther to Thomson PLaza for dinner and food.. Think its the day where we had the UPSM. After a horrible day (where aunty ellen and esther had to be in the rain, and i had to spray my hair black to wear the uniform i don wish to wear), i think shld reward ourselves. Hence, after the treat to the P6 Ruby House competitors, we went to Sushi Tei for food and more food...

After makaning (a new word invented by singaporeans), we walked abt the plaza when i saw this lamp which i thought was quite nice. Price was rocket high though.

Coincidentally, when i went with Ivy they all to KTV at Cineleisure, i saw the exact same lamp at the HK cafe. It blend in every well with the envirnment, i thought.. Hmmm...

I shall endure. In 3 yrs time when i change my furniture, this is one of the things i mux get (a reall cool lamp), unkike the one i hav in my room now.....

Wah lau... I wish i was there too.. But no lar... Tis is the Civil Service Club at Tessenjohn where we had the bowling competition. THe environment nt bad, jus tat not much thing to do there...

Staff Welfare job

Went for my first TVPS Annual Bowling competition on the 1st Monday of the March Holidays.

Being part of the Staff Welfare committee, i (tog wif aunty ellen) was arrowed to take charge of the prizes. Let me recall... Champ will get $4 worth of Prizes each. Second will get $3 and subsequently, third will get $2, if i am nt wrong. SO met Aunty Ellen @ Compass Pt the day b4 to get he prizes. I like this type of job, choosing prizes. Quite fun, cause can sabo pple one, haha...

Though my Art & Craft is get C or D type, i still volunteered to wrap up the prez. How is it?

More Sai Kang for me!!!

Recently, Victor asked me to helped me do a ang-moh chinese translation for him with regards to the BB Recruitment Service. But actually forgot to bring it to sch to translate (the reason for bringing it to sch was tat Aunt Ellen gt a pwrful translation dict in sch) and also see if she could help me in some ways tat i might nt be familiar with. But 4gt to bring it to sch. Vic die die needs it be tuesday and hence, hav to do a last min translation for him on monday night. However, there are some technical stuff tat i meet up with and hence, asked Ellen for help. Thank God she was willing to help me at time like 9pm at nite. Kudos to you, aunty!

Then, David came to me today.

"Hey, Matt!"

"Thanks for your help in the translation thing. You know, one thing leads to another."

(At this pt of time, my mind was thinking 'Ooh shit. You need me to do more translation???)

"Could you possibly be the emcee for the Recruitment Service? We need a Chinese Co-Emcee and was thinking whether you can help..."

(Ok.. Nw it seems tat besides sch BB, i am involved in church as well.)

Nevertheless, I agreed to it lar. I have been kinda of 内疚tat i didnt attend church for the last few wks and hence, try to amend it the best i can, Though i don think will be of much use.

But on the other hand, tis jus widen my social circle and hey, getting to know more friends doesnt hurt. I realise tat my thinking of jus having a few close friends doesnt work out anymore. Its better to have a wide social circle. Its jus can extend your lobangs as well. (haha, yah.. jus gt to know tat Rina's mum can do catering as well.)

Hahah.. I think tis is the emcee yr for me. Being one in TVPS CNY concert, BB Recruitment Service and the P1 & 2 Children song competition as well as the Upper Pri Campus Superstar thingy as well. haha..

Eugene O jus spoke something about being thankful today.

"Instead of asking why and why... Let's think of why not instead. Instead of thinking why i don get it tis yr, why not i be thankful tat my other things in life turn out very well in fact?"

At tis pt of time, it felt like God suddenly send an angel to speak personally to me. I realise tat I have been complaining alot abt things in life and nt contended. I choose nt to highlight things tat have been gg well in my life and bring up those which i detest or rather, don really like. After Eugene had said, it felt as if God has lift a great burden on my shoulder tat has been there for the past few months.

God is a thankful God, Wat you have asked, you shall recieve, be it obviously or hidden somewhere in your life. Ask wat you need and stay by it in faith.....
