OCBC Cycle Singapore

In my blog somet time ago, i mentioned that i am gg for this particular event.


After the event, while waiting for Auntie Tan, i went alone to watch the Kids preparing to start their 5Km community ride. So cute lo, the kids. All wearing helmets and mini size bikes.

Tried to take some pics of them but my fone couldnt capture them as they are too far away. Gave up. IN the end, find this person also quite cute, so took photo of him instead, haha....


My offical timing fort he 40km is 1:49:47:702 hrs. In a position of 180 placing among 302 people for people age group between 25 - 29. Slow right??? My aim is to get below 1.5 hrs for next year.

Heard rumours that someone planning to hold event to cycle the whole of Singapore. If they don have a short time limit to finish the whole thingy (cause i predict i need to take a super long time to finish), and its open to public, i would want to take part. Imagine cycle the whle of Singapore. How cool is that?

V Day (14 Feb 2009)

Of Course I celebrated this day with "her". Wnt to get flower before meeting her. Guess wat. I think the florist 敲诈 lor... This bouquet of flowers cost $69. Wat the....

When i met her, she was quite surprised to recieve this. But to my surprise. she also bought me this!



Nvr thought she would buy this. My impression of her is that she will always go for quality stuff that is of the affordable range. Tat time gt ask her wat she think of this brand. She said quite ex, though its dark choco. Just tat the branding make the prices soar. Den when she present this, she said she remembered that i liked dark choco... Heh heh...

AAt first wanted to go a Japanese Restaurant to eat. But since we didnt make any reservation, the onli seats they have left is those sit side by side one. She asked me whehter i want or not. Thinking its difficult to talk like tat, i said we find another one lor. In the end, we went to Outback Steakhouse. Ordered each a main course and shared a plate of fries. Very full lo though i think i ate most of the fries, haha... I found out that she doesnt like steak with red in the middle = she onli like well done steak. Haha.. She cant stand the feel of eating blood. Though she don mind me eating it, she say i ma chiam like vampire. Diaoz......

Random

Uploading pics i took with my Samsung Omnia. All are very random, not much theme in mind.

Before CNY, I went with one auntie and one ah mah to the flower nursery to buy some flowers to spruce up our houses to welcome the new season. When i reach there, i was in awe lo. The flowers are blooming like no ones biz... Brighten up ones mood immediately.



As usual, i bought the pussy willow for my house. See any diff as comapred to other people? Some of the pussy willow is red in colour.


My mum bought this to welcome spring. These are to signify the welcoming of wealth. 旺来in Hokkien is actually "wealth come". But can any one tell me how come pineapple is called 旺来and not 黄梨?


CNY deco @ The Cathay. Not bad....



My parents, being taoist and Buddhist combined, follow the tradition of praying to the 天公 on the 9th day (if i am not wrong) of the CNY. See the things they prepared. Wow...


Ok. I admit. These are my fav out of so many goodies. After they finish praying, i will attack these first. I like the ang kueh, especially if its filled with peanuts filling...

Got into a small accident on the 15th day of CNY. Bump the rear of another car while turning into CTE on AMK Ave 5. Had to pay abt 3k for this damage. Haiz... Bo bian lo. Had to claim insurance. Need forgo the NCB (No Claim Bonus)
