Reservist

Though its a break from the usual teaching, i still find it quite sianz to go reservist. THe mundane drill, the unnecessary actions we need to do at times and worse, the usual IPPT. hiaz.... Very sianz lor.

Here i am getting ready to go reservist, though my mind have a billions of reluctance.

Went to T2 house that day. Supposed to hear her troubles or something but in the end, ah mah and I were busy entertaining ourselves while T2 is doing some work with her 玩具.

Mt Faber

Tat day, after sending my friend home, decided to go with ah mah to Mt Faber. Initially was to de-stress my friend. Cos she like ma chiam stress, so decided to call her out. But she last min say cannot. So jus went with ah mah to Mt Faber for a drink.

Jewel Box is closed for renovation, i think. So we went to Faber rock instead. Still a tthe same location, just turn left in stead of turning right to go into Jewel Box.

Overall, this place i think is better than Jewel Box on a normal day. Gt breeze, gt live band, gt beautiful scenery. Finger food also nt bad. Nice placce ti chill.. Yeah... Found one more place to chill...

Can you guess where our destination? Still cannot? Ok, here's hint. Its a hogh class restaruant biult at the top of one of the highest biulding in Spore.




hahah... yAH, it 海天楼at Pan Pacific Hotel. Its a real experience...

High-class enuff? But they remove the plates before they serve the dishes. Wonder why....




Our 1st starter... Fried Prawnballs in Oyster sauce and wasabe mayo.




Nxt, my long awaited Suckling pig skin with scallop. haha.. Cool. You know, i have been craving for suckling pig ever since jan this yr.




Their speciality tofu. One of the nicest i have ever eaten. Crispy on the outside, soft in the inside. Their sauce is indeed unforgettable.




A simple Sweet and Sour pork. But inside it, there............... Strawberry! Wow.. But sad to say, cant really taste the strawberry taste when eating the pork. But at least can eat the real strawberry lar.



Tis dessert is mine! Ice w/black sesame. Ma chiam pulut Hitam, but nicer.



Tis is my friend's. Some ice cream with avocado. Usually i don really like avocada. But ever since sampling tis dish, i started to like this fruit.




After dinner, passed by Marina Square. Saw tis real nice chandelier(dunno hw to spell). Real nice for a euporean style of house. But bettcha ur maid or servant will HATE (IN CAPS) you for it.

Overseas Outing!!!

No No... Don be too happy. Its nt the Cameron Highlands one! My photoshop CD is in sch and hence, no chance to resize the photo to put it here.

Went for an overseas outing with some of my workplace friends... Feel quite good. Shld try again!!!

TVPS Scouts

This year, both Ah Mah and me are tasked to do D&D. Hence, i enthu went to search for various pl. You know la, i like to do this type of Xtra Xtra things.

Found this restaruant "Peony Jade" at Clarke Quay. I remembered attending wedding dinner there twice and the food was real good. Sensitive to Muslim people as well, they served indivudually to them, different from the rest of the hotels whereby they put all muslims at one table.

Sent an email to them went down to recee the place. THe place is very nicely done up. Gt the Oriental feel tat we wan. Able to provide good food and a bum boat ride as well!!! Woah... Gt tis feel of us 90% can confirm booking alr when wham!! Our Muslims colleagues are scared that food are of different standards adm the eatery are nt halal certified. Win alr lor....

Uh Oh!!!

haha... Forgt to blog about one of the greatest achievements before the holidays start. haha...

KNow something. Buying this camera was a hasty decision. I jus decided long ago tat i need a camera but gt no idea which one to buy. Tehn i remember overheard someone tat Fujifilm cam are nice to take sceneric fotos. Hence, i decided on fuji.

When i was with Yan Ni and Irwin to the bookfair, wow... The Fuji booth jus stood out from the rest of the bookstores lor. After 20min of detailed asking, i decided to bet my $369 on this cam.



Nt bad, looks nice, function os good also. Can do a lot of things with it.

Record Breaking

This was completed during the holidays. Ah Mah and I almost went back to sch everyday jus trying to finish up the two stupid mushrooms. A pity we didnt get to do the coconut tree that we proposed to do as well. Though the initial proces was long and tedious, we managed to make it in the end.

Initially, I thought we wouldnt make it. Basically,like the students, i gt no head and tail of where to start. I jus go there to take instr from someone who knows it better until the mushrooms part.

When i reached the AVA room for the making of the mushrooms, i still in a whirlpool. Till Ah Mah gt down to work then i gt some ideas here and there. 姜还是老的辣！Feeling a bit restless, decide to put things inside the mushroom head,kit kat bar wrappers, used up tissues (don worry, its still 99% made up of newspapers). Ah mah was asking like tat how can, ltr gt ants. Natural environment gt ants mahz, so it jus make the mushroom more natural, wat's wrong? heheheh...

But the process was cool lar. We jus took our time to do the mushroom and the best part was, we watched some movies while doing it, hahah... Relac boh! Then lunch can happily go Balestier Road for Bah kUT tEH.

Tah Dah! Our end product! Damn Proud of it man!

And the end product! This doesnt come easy. With it comes some misunderstandings, mis-communications, frustrations, out-bursts of emmotions etc. But the reward was sweet... We beat Kranji in this! Yeah...

Tour of Nite Safari

Its been a long time since I went to Nite Safari. Few days ago, accidentally tolod Ellen tat I wan to go and she gambly said okie! So off we go!

The tour of nite safari was ok. We went to recce the place for our sch D&D b4 setting off. The Peony Jade is really not bad! Very classy and elegant. Price also cheap. Can have free bum boat too, hahah..

We reached NS b4 the park opened so we had dinner first. I actually wanted to makan at the "food court" but then realised that one bowl of laksa costs $13. Wow.. This place really know how to slaughter pple. So decided on fast food..

After makan and a satisfying African Tribal show, the park was offocially opened and we went to the tram str. Initially, i thought like not so many pple will be there being a thur nite. But then, jus take a look a the pic... During the tram ride, one forienger sat so close to me that i had to squeeze nxt to Ellen. Even though at times i put my7 legs close to him, hinting that he sat too close to me. But then, i think he is used to too many pple in his country.

After tram ride, wanted to watch animal show str but then the show was full alr. Hence, went to take a walk b4 the nxt show starts. Then, in the silence of the nite, i realise.... I realise... I realsit that ELLEN WAS WEARING SANDALS THAT MAKE A LOT OF NOISE! Wow! ok, @ least i know she is always near me and will not go missing( ma chiam cow)... I was wondering wat the animals think?

Pasta MANIAC!

Went to sch today to do the fruits competiton thingy.Weent thru my file of foood during lunch time and sae the delivery menu for Pastamania.

The food was not bad. THe sauce and noodles were placed seperately so that hte noodles won get too "thick".

(Jus in case u were wondering wats the black thingy pizza. Its Bananan Choco pizza. Doesnt look apetiezing but trust me, its Good!)

N.U.M.

Went to New Urban Male recently. I always didnt dare to go in cos of some reasons. However, seeing that one of my NIE friends gt a discount card, i went in with him to buy some slippers.

Result" Ended up buying two pairs of slippers which cost $60 in all. I find the designs quite nice. I even applied for the membership. Actually, the staff is ok one lar, jus maybe the ones i saw previously are a bit too extreme.



Also bought a new cam recently. Used the Auction function to snap a few shots of my new victories
