PCN

For a start, don ask me what is PCN... I gt no idea. I know P stands for Park and C stands for connector. I gt no idea wat is N....

Went to try out the East Park Connector today via bicycle. Actually i tried this route before with my buddy but then, i was too tired. Today, i went ti try it out again. I am not sure whether is it last time i went was nite cycling or is it now that i know the route (more or less), it doesnt seem so long and tiring anymore.

I actually enjoy the ride though, yes yes... My butt still hurts. I was listening to my MP3 and enjoying the scenery as well. I wanted to take some pic along the way initially but then, was too lazy. Maybe nxt time bahz.

The weather was not too bad. I started cycling at 14oohrs and the weather was gloomy. I was thinking whether i should go ahead with the plan or not. At last, i jus decide to go along lar. At the most, get drenched onli. Paid $15 for the bic then off i go. When i left ECP, it was drizzling. But good lar, when i reach the Changi Coastal Road (behind Changi Airport), the sun was up, so at least i get a bit of sun. Was enjoying watching the airplane taking off and touching down.

Then reach Changi V for a meal. Ordered the Chicken Hor Fun. The taste not bad. Was recommended by City Beat b4. After a satisfying meal, went ahead to cycle again.

Let me count, i spent 5 hrs cycling and of which, 30mins were rest time. Technically, the cycling was onli 4 1/2 hrs. Start from ECP ---> Changi-----> Pasir Ris ----> Tampines----> Bedok Reservoir----> Siglap---> the back to ECP. Not bad leh, quite fast.

Anyone interested in the cycling ??? Call me, i don mind gg again.. Hmm... Might consider gg again nxt wk.

哈哈。。。I also don know why lehz.. Saw Ah Mah paste so many photos at her desk and thought when i can think abt the happy old days when i am feeling low, then its quite a good idea.

Indeed, when i feel low @ work, when i look up at these fotos, i can dream abt the days where i felt happier. The days in NIE where i can laugh and joke with my bunch of 猪朋狗友，the days in Yunan whereby i spent everyday interacting with the kids who hav no motive of getting close to you other than forging friendship...

Getting to work now, i feel that i no longer feel as happy as i used to be. I miss the days where i can open my heart and laugh without worries. Dayz where i jus clown ard my friends. Dayz where i can talk my heart out without worrying. Dayz where i can do what i wan without any restrictions.

The days....

As mentioned in my previous blog, my sch was in the Record Challenge Competition organised by MediaCorp. One of the teahcers-in-charge actually asked me to do a
video which showcase the different occupations in Singapore. I did a little more by adding Her's journey down the road. However, during the filming, there was no space to showcase the video clip. Hence, was a bit wasted. Since the clipwas not used, i felt as if i didnt do anything for that semi-finals... Sianz... Like everybody busy painting the cans, i also busy doing video clip. then the video clip not shown, i don know whether the rest of the teahcers are wondering why i am stuck to my computer instead of doing other things or not.

Hahah... a bit 不服气it was not showcased, so now i put on my blog lor.




Anyway, in the Finals, during the egg relay race, we emergered as the Winner with 5k Cash! So now at least can reimburse my payments.

Things i do at the office

Staff room is actually a very quiet place. However, i think wif me in it, i think it actually became a market place alr. I think some of the teachers cant tahan me alr,haha....


This one i always manage to think of something to irritate her each term. Evertime i do tat, she will give me a "烦" face. But then, onli like tat then can brighten up the office atmosphere right??



Tis one is my auntie. She is the same age as my mum, can u imagine??? Hahah.. When she is stressed up by her sons at home or stressed up at work, she will come to me lar... i think i can be a gd listening ear bahz... Nxt time mus charge consultation fee liao.. One thing i guess why she come to me is because i used to (or even now) behave like her younger son in some ways. Hence, thru me, she can try to find out why her son behave like tat or think like tat, heh heh...

My Class

I was given a form class this year (2 Hope). When i first recieved this class, i was like (OMG)!

I alr told my supervisor that i don wan to teach lwr pri if possible. Now, ita not onli I hav to teach lwr pri, worse still, i need to be their form teacher. The first day i went in with dread. C'mon, during my whole prac, i didnt touch lwr pri at all. When i went in 2 Kindness last yr, it was like all chaotic. The kids don know wat i wan and i don know what the kid wan.

HOwever, i gradually frew to love my 2 Hope kids. Though naughty and lazy at times (ya, not your perfect students), but they always manage to brighten up my days each time i see them.


The boys i can depend on. When i delegate task to them, i can be assured that they will do their best!

Some of these kids are not in my chinese class but they are in my form class. Yes, one of them is Malay so she cnt be in my class right? The others are the 深广class and hence, not in my chinese class as well. But i still have to manage their admin procedures.






The onli twins in my class. Everytime i wan to call them, hav to see the MOLE first. If not, cant differentiate them lehz...But they very cute. Gt once i called them wrongly and asked the other guy to help me do things. Tat guy actually jus listened to my instructions and asked his bro (the one i wanted to call in fact) to do wat i want him to do. haha.. I oli realised my mistake after one of the students told me so... Blur Blur..

Quite proud of them during the performance. Though they didnt clinched the 1st three prizes, but i mus say theu did pretty well. Ah Mah (one of the judges) told me they lost because they were too soft. but their actions and movements were excellent. I don know how true the comment was but nevertheless, i was proud of them. So rpud that i decide to showcase them on my blog!

Sum Up

This weekend is the super long weekend for me with the fri being work till only 1000am then monday being a school holiday.

However, it doesnt seem so long to me. Lets see what i have done so far till today.

1)Fri:
After work, went out for lunch with colleagues.
Reached home at around 3 plus.
Had a nap before going to SIM at 1815hrs
Reached home only at 0000hrs

2)Sat:
Supposed to have tuition at 11am but then tuition kids says mum wan stop
tuition at the moment. (Tis kid very troublesome...)
So went to mark my P4 books
Went for another tuition at 1230pm.
Ate lunch @ 1515hrs
Started marking books at 1600hrs
Watched NDP 08 on tv @ 1745hrs
Started marking books again after NDP 08
Started doing CTI TMA01 onli at 0015hrs
Slept at 0345hrs

3)Sunday
Went to tuition at 1000hrs.
Ate lunch at 1300hrs
Start on TMA01 again.
Finish @ 1645hrs
Supposed to go cycling but friend last min says raining then cant go out.....
So now???? Nua-ing at home..

All the activities all seems so anti-social... Haiz...

Let me recall, when was the last time i talk to a friend???? Shit, cant remember....

Sense of Accomplishment

Had the P5 Topical Test recently.

Two of my students who used to fail Chinese everytime actually passed the test. One of them even got among the top 25% of my class. Haha..

Tat day i praised them to the skies lor. Cos nt only they happy, i also happy, heh heh.. Hope they can continue this type of standard.

How I wish that i can follow this class nxt yr. How i wish my wish will come true.....
